In For 145 years the Union Tribune has been an innovator in the San Diego media industry. This year, for the 20th Annual Best Of Poll, they named ONYX ROOM the BEST NIGHTCLUB in SAN DIEGO! We were nominated by amazing party goers like YOU! We have so much gratitude for all who voted us 2016 Best Nightclub!
ONYX ROOM is the only nightclub in San Diego that has 3 separate rooms offering 3 types of music. We cover every music taste around! On Fridays and Saturdays, our Main Room hosts world traveled DJ's like Rags and Seize, playing the best of Hip Hop and Top 40's. They spin your favorite classics to that new-new that gets you lit on the dance floor! On Friday's our Tropical Room makes those sexy hips move with sizzling Latin beats like Bachata, Merengue and Salsa. This night also features a fantastic complimentary dance class starting at 9pm sharp. Saturdays brings another special treat, live regional bands! We book the best bandas in San Diego including Sies n Linea, Nuevo Amanecer, & La Chokosa, just to name a few! Lastly, but definitely not least, Onyx Grotto delivers high-energy Latin pop that will keep your heart pounding all night!
